Our ensemble comprises Conservatory graduates and dedicated music educators, possessing over fifteen years of mastery in live entertainment and private event artistry. We converse fluently in English, French, and German, and maintain close collaborations with Italy’s most revered locations and esteemed planning agencies. The complete line-up features Elena on female vocals and snare drum, Stefano on guitar, Mirco on double bass, and Alberto on wind instruments. We may also present a refined Trio configuration or adapt the instrumentation to suit the occasion.

The Tuscany Swing Band is devoted to delivering a musical presentation of the highest calibre, performed entirely live. Can you perform outdoors? (asked by Marina on 8 December 2025)

Response from Stefano: Yes, but we require a shady area to perform of at least 4 metres length x 2 metres depth, not far from an electric socket.

What else do you require? (asked by Marina on 8 December 2025)

Response from Stefano: We also need a dressing room to change clothes and washroom facilities.

Do you require parking close to the venue? (asked by Marina on 8 December 2025)

Response from Stefano: Yes, we have to install some heavy equipment (amps etc.) so the area where we play must be reachable by car.

Il trio The Tuscany Swing Band nasce dall’unione di tre musicisti provenienti da estrazioni musicali eterogenee con un’ampia esperienza professionale e con la stessa passione e curiosità per diversi linguaggi musicali. Con la stessa voglia di divertirsi facendo divertire chi ascolta.

Il Progetto. Il trio The Tuscany Swing Band nasce dall’idea di offrire uno spettacolo musicale di alta qualità interamente suonato dal vivo.

L’ottima preparazione musicale e la lunga esperienza professionale dei componenti garantiscono performance artistiche sempre di alto livello; così come lo studio approfondito del repertorio, la creazione di arrangiamenti originali e gli anni di pratica in ogni sorta di contesto: dai festival di strada ai concerti in teatri e auditorium, dai locali agli hotel di gran lusso e alle feste private.

Il sound. La chitarra, il pianoforte, il rullante e la voce sono strumenti ricchi di infinite sfumature e come tutti gli strumenti acustici sono in grado di sfruttare una illimitata gamma di dinamiche.

La voce calda e avvolgente si alternerà con le improvvisazioni strumentali del pianoforte e della chitarra sostenuti dal ritmo incalzante e discreto del rullante suonato con le spazzole.

Il repertorio è molto vasto ed attinge da vari generi musicali. Arricchito da arrangiamenti originali, esso spazia principalmente dallo swing italiano, europeo e americano degli anni ’40 agli standard jazz, senza escludere la Bossa Nova e brani strumentali come valzer musettes, beguine e altro.

Un occhio di riguardo viene rivolto alla canzone italiana che “ha girato il mondo” ovvero quella dell’era dello swing, quella delle vecchie radio e dei giradischi. Insomma quei “motivetti” che piacciono tanto in tutto il mondo.
