Be introduced to The Principals—a refined four-piece ensemble based in Benevento, Italy, celebrated for their vintage Italian sound, delivered with a captivating and impeccably entertaining style.

Specialising in weddings, parties, and exclusive private events, their versatile repertoire spans beloved Italian classics, international hits, and subtle touches of rumba and Neapolitan flair. They are regularly commissioned for bespoke celebrations at Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte in Florence and Cantina Masicei in Vibo Valentia, Italy.

Comprising a singer/guitarist, drummer, bassist, and electric guitar/violin virtuoso, The Principals craft a dynamic musical journey that moves effortlessly from setting a romantic ambience to igniting the dance floor. They offer an acoustic roaming performance to warmly welcome guests, as well as a live amplified set curated to inspire dancing during or after dinner. Background music is provided during interludes, and a microphone is available for speeches if desired during lunch or dinner.

Their repertoire is a charming fusion of international and classic Italian melodies that resonate with a global audience, with the option to include elegant jazzy instrumental pieces upon request. They can perform a roaming set throughout the entire dinner, if so desired. What distinguishes their roaming act is the use of compact, battery-powered amplifiers; they play a couple of pieces in one refined spot, then move to another, ensuring every guest receives a personal, intimate moment with the music. Roaming is a perfect choice for aperitifs when guests are mingling in a garden or on a terrace. For a dinner setting, however, a fixed concert format may be ideal—featuring music between courses and culminating in a spirited set that invites everyone to dance.

We booked The Principals for our wedding in Puglia, Italy. They were absolutely perfect for our group of 30! We had people of all ages there, so we wanted a band that everyone would enjoy. The Principals were able to understand the mood and had plenty of slower classics to start the night off, but turned things up a notch when they knew it was time. They were super personable and fun as well, even letting a few of us come up and join them to sing a couple songs! I heard countless comments throughout the evening about how much everyone enjoyed the band, as well as the next day. I think everyone was ready for more by the time the night ended. I couldn’t recommend them enough for your event!

We just got married at Masseria Tarsia Morisco in Conversano (Puglia region) had this band play at our wedding ceremony and during our happy hour, and they were SUCH a fun addition to the day. They played amazing Italian music that was perfect for our crowd (mostly friends and family visiting from the U.S.), and it really set the vibe. It made everything feel so lively and special. We had so many guests come up to us saying how great the band was—they were a huge hit. Couldn’t recommend them more!

We could not have selected a better choice. The energy, fun and music The Principals brought were beyond our expectations. They played lovely music during cocktail hour then brought the energy to kick off the dancing. Song choices were excellent as well. Also special shoutout to the DJ who The Principals recommended to take over DJing into the night. The dancing never stopped. Almost every guest came up to my wife and I asking who the band was and expressed how impressed they were. Couldn't recommend enough.

Nicoletta & Mario Carbone event in Milan

We hired them to liven up the event with Latin and swing music. Perfect for those who want to chat or dance. The guys set up a fixed station and then moved around to engage the guests. I must say that when they moved, they succeeded in their intent to captivate and distract them from their conversations. Many of them were people who had not met after many years and who live abroad, so they were difficult to distract, but they did it...Excellent and highly recommended.
