Glam Funk Band is a refined function band, curating the most celebrated dance hits from across the decades with a fresh, funky elegance. For years, this ensemble has been one of Rome’s most sought-after wedding and party bands, offering an impeccable wealth of experience for the most discerning occasions. The core formation comprises four virtuoso musicians, with the capacity to expand to nine members by incorporating saxophone, percussion, trumpet, and additional vocalists—a bespoke configuration tailored to elevate any event.
Beyond a repertoire of smooth hits, ideal for an aperitif or an evening of understated sophistication, the band presents a curated selection of danceable music in the funky and dance genres. Their current favourites include Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Jamiroquai, Robin Thicke, and Jason Derulo, while drawing from a timeless setlist of icons such as Michael Jackson, Donna Summer, and Cheryl Lynn. We booked Glam Funk to play after dinner at our wedding. From the very first communication, Andrea was a pleasure to deal with. Their music was fantastic, they sounded amazing and had everyone dancing with their upbeat style. I cant recommend this band highly enough, I just wish I had another event to book them for! Glam Funk Band were absolutely brilliant! They were super easy to communicate with before the wedding and answered any questions. At the wedding their performance was amazing. They got everyone up dancing from all generations - so many of the guests commented on how good they were. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Our wedding was a fairy tale and this was also thanks to the Glam Funk Band and the beautiful voice of Andrea. We chose the acoustic duo with guitar and vocals for the first part of the reception and the Glam Funk Band for a more lively post-lunch and the result was a truly elegant, fun and unique atmosphere! Definitely super recommended!

Any adjective would be an understatement to describe the performance given to us by Andrea and his Glam Funk Band. The first dance, the acoustic set, the atmosphere, the LED lights synchronized with the music and the DJ set. Everything was perfect, organization and professionalism included! Thank you so much.

The Glam Funk Band played a performance well beyond our expectations for our wedding at Casa Privata (Ca’ Pa’) on the Amalfi Coast this September 2022. They put on a top notch elegant, classy and romantic performance during the earlier parts of our wedding and an upbeat after dinner party for our guests that had everyone dancing. They adapted to some last minute changes that occurred as a result of the villa layout which we were supremely grateful for. We highly recommend them for your event! Julie.
