About Splendour Duo – an exquisite Violin & Cello Duo based in Padua, Italy

Splendour Duo is a supremely refined ensemble of violin and cello, offering impeccably curated live music for weddings and exclusive high-end celebrations across the globe.

Classically trained and internationally celebrated, the duo delivers a polished, deeply expressive sound to ceremonies, receptions, and every moment where atmosphere and musical perfection are paramount.

Their collaboration began aboard luxury cruise liners, performing for the world’s most prestigious cruise lines and cultivating a versatile repertoire ideally suited to wedding ceremonies, private soirées, and bespoke events.

The ensemble is regularly commissioned for weddings and gatherings at Villa Muggia in Stresa and Villa Cariola in Caprino Veronese.

Today, Splendour Duo dedicates itself exclusively to luxury weddings and private functions, also offering solo violin or cello performances upon request. Based in Padova, the duo travels internationally to serve discerning clientele.

Both musicians possess formidable academic foundations and extensive stage presence. Violinist Marina, a graduate of the Kyiv Academy of Music, has toured extensively across Europe as lead violinist with the symphonic production Lord of the Sound. Her career includes performances for VIP and corporate events, Carnival Cruise Line productions, opening ceremonies at Celebration Key, and contemporary crossover shows such as Celestial String.

Cellist Olesia, a graduate of the Dnipro Academy of Music, served as lead cellist of the Dnipro Youth Orchestra and toured throughout Europe. She also spent over five years performing with a resident string quartet on Princess Cruises, playing for formal ceremonies, private events, ship inaugurations, celebrity guests, and members of the British Royal Family.

Splendour Duo offers flexible formations—from solo violin or cello to string duo, trio, or quartet—with set lengths typically ranging from 30 to 45 minutes. The ensemble provides essential sound equipment, arrives well in advance to ensure a seamless setup, and is pleased to learn a limited number of special requests, such as a first dance. Performances can be adapted to a wide array of venues, including alfresco settings when weather permits, always delivered with elegance, consummate professionalism, and an unwavering attention to detail.
