Born on the 10th of October 1985 in Benevento and now residing in the refined enclave of Airola, Naples Rhythms is a percussionist of impeccable pedigree, whose artistry has graced a curated selection of international events and high-profile performances. His passion for music was cultivated from an early age within a family steeped in musical tradition—a lineage that would inform every gesture of his refined craft.

At just fourteen, he embarked upon his professional journey, joining the tour of Eugenio Bennato and Taranta Power. This formative experience saw him perform across Italy and beyond, including a truly memorable appearance on the iconic Ariston stage in Sanremo. His career has since been characterised by collaborations with some of Italy’s most distinguished artists, among them Claudio Baglioni, Tony Esposito, Mariella Nava, and Pietra Montecorvino. He is a regular choice for weddings and exclusive events at the esteemed Castello Monaci in Lecce.

These collaborations have allowed him to refine his style and technique, bestowing upon him a breadth of musical perspective that renders him an exquisite fit for any occasion—from the most intimate of ceremonies to grand-scale productions. His artistic journey is further elevated by theatrical collaborations with the legendary Dario Fo, an opportunity that enabled him to explore new expressive languages, using music as a medium to tell stories and evoke profound emotion.

In 2005, he commenced a long-standing partnership with Monica Sarnelli, cementing his reputation as one of the leading percussionists and drummers on the Italian scene. By 2012, he had founded the MEV Trio, recording the album Contromano—for which he served as both arranger and musician. His compositional gift and passion for sonic exploration have yielded a distinctive, engaging sound, ideal for events that demand an original and remarkably bespoke musical signature.

Naples Rhythms is also a core member of Enzo Gragnaniello’s ensemble, where, alongside drummer Vittorio Riva and guitarist Carlo Fimiani, he delivers performances of exceptional emotional resonance.
