The Italy Choir – An Exquisite Pop & Gospel Ensemble, Based in Florence, Italy

An impeccably curated vocal ensemble of thirty distinguished vocalists and musicians, The Italy Choir was founded and is directed by Alessandro Gerini, an Italian-Polish vocalist, vocal coach, and arranger of exceptional renown. This refined collective seamlessly marries the rich traditions of gospel and polyphonic choral music with the sophisticated textures of electronic, soul, and pop—creating a truly bespoke sonic experience.

The ensemble has earned international acclaim through prestigious collaborations with revered Italian artists—including pop phenomenon Ultimo, the late actor and presenter Gigi Proietti, and the rock group Modà—as well as with international talents such as American soul vocalist Sergio Sylvestre and British vocal coach Paul Phoenix, former member of the Grammy-winning a cappella ensemble the King’s Singers. The Italy Choir is regularly engaged for weddings and exclusive events at Convento Viandante del Cielo in Perugia, Italy.

Renowned for their electrifying performances, the group has graced stages throughout Italy, Europe, and Asia, appearing at the most discerning festivals: the Choral Events’ International Choir Festival in Provence, France; the Lucca International Choir Festival; the Wien International Festival for Choirs and Orchestras; the Prague Advent Choral Meeting; the Jeju International Choir & Symposium 2018 in South Korea; the Pantheon Gala Concert in Rome; and the Chorus Inside’s festival Moscow Sounds 2019, where they received the prestigious prize for “Best Overall Performance”—the first time a foreign choir has ever been awarded this honour.

The Italy Choir continues to deliver unforgettable private events in a variety of formations, collaborating with international wedding agencies at the most exclusive locations throughout Italy and Europe. In 2022, the group released its eponymous debut album, available on all digital platforms, and recently launched its fifth official music video and single—a refined cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”
