Italian Swing Tap is a Sicily-based ensemble of exceptional refinement, uniting elegant jazz melodies, spirited swing rhythms, and the magnetic energy of professional tap dance for weddings and private celebrations of the highest calibre.

Conceived as a singular artistic project in Sicily, this curated group seamlessly blends live music and entertainment into an experience that is at once polished, captivating, and richly personal.

Headquartered in Catania, the band comprises seasoned musicians and performers devoted to crafting indelible moments through impeccably live sound.

Every performance is entirely live, without pre-recorded tracks, allowing an authentic, intimate connection between the musicians and the audience to flourish. The music is meticulously adapted to each phase of the celebration—from a relaxed aperitivo set to an exuberant evening performance that sustains an atmosphere of effortless sophistication until the final note.

Italian Swing Tap offers a selection of bespoke configurations: an acoustic band, a larger big band, or a full orchestral arrangement, with the option to add a DJ set for the after-party. The wedding package also includes live saxophone during the aperitivo, delicate background music between key moments, and the signature tap dance performance.

What are your normal set lengths?

- We don't believe in standard packages because every event has its own unique rhythm. Our philosophy is to build the entire performance tailor-made for you: we don't count the number of songs, but we ensure that every moment has the perfect soundtrack. We'll work together to define every detail, from the length of the sets to the choice of repertoire, to tailor the event to your desires.

Do you have different line-up options?

- Yes from 5 piece to 11 piece

Do you provide your own sound & lighting equipment? What is it or what's included in the price?

- We offer our own sound and lighting services for performances in Sicily, Calabria, and Puglia. For transfers to other areas, or for on-site setup, the technical and logistical support of the relevant organisation is required.

Do you provide a laptop playlist / DJ service in between and after your live sets?

- Yes, DJ on request

What time do you normally arrive at the venue to set up?

- Around 4 hours before performance

How long does it take for you to set up, sound check etc?

- 2 hours

Can you learn song requests (e.g. a first dance)?

- Yes we can learn them, it all depends on when we am given the song to prepare

How much space do you need for your performance area?

- Minimum 4m x 3m

Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT-tested equipment?

- Yes

Are you comfortable performing outdoors or in unusual settings (e.g. barns, beaches)?
