This is The Gypsy Jazz Orchestra, a refined ensemble based in Ravenna, Italy, designed to transform any occasion into an atmosphere of sophisticated movement and unforced conviviality.

Founded in 1996, this bespoke orchestra comprises musicians from Ravenna and its surrounding landscapes, having graced countless live events and festivals over the decades. Among its distinguished accolades are multiple victories at the “On The Road Festival” in Pelago—a testament to its enduring artistry.

Beyond the stage, the orchestra has produced five studio albums, each a curated collection of arrangements and soundtracks featured in select documentaries and films. In 2016, the ensemble was honoured by Raoul Casadei as winner of the prestigious ROMAGNA MIA 2.0 contest.

The band members’ meeting was serendipitous—an exquisite convergence of fate, as though all great creations emerge from nothingness to burst into something extraordinary. A shared longing to look beyond the Adriatic, yet remain rooted on this shore, had long lingered among them. Recurring gatherings brought novelties; novelties sparked a desire to blend disparate sounds; and the alchemy of those sounds fused every element into a seamless whole.
